Spirit-Empowered: We are committed to the belief that all life, ministry, and evangelism is done through the power of the Holy Spirit. As scripture instructs, we aim to be a church that is led by and keeps in step with the Holy Spirit. Only through the Holy Spirit are people brought to repentance and unity with the Father. Only through the Holy Spirit are believers transformed into Christ-likeness. The empowerment of the Spirit is central to the Christian life. (Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:16-25).
Gospel-Centered: The gospel informs everything we do and draws people into a community that enters into the mission of Jesus together. Community is more than hanging out with people who are like you. Gospel-centered community is about seeing people from all walks of life in all stages of life come together as a family because of the unity we have in Christ and our heavenly father. (Acts 2:42-47)
City-Focused: The Well Church is a church for the good of the city. We are committed to serving the city in such a way that brings glory to God and good for all people. Our hope for Mustang and surrounding areas is that the people will be blessed by God because of the way The Well Church serves and loves. (1 Corinthians 10:24)
Mission-Minded: Jesus Christ called us to a life of mission. That mission is to bring the good news of the Gospel to those who are far from God. We believe that our identity is found in being an ambassador on mission for God in our daily lives. We view our entire life through the lenses of the Gospel. We want to take seriously the fact that God has sovereignly placed us where He wants us and we can be confident that God has prepared people to hear the Gospel where we live, work, and play. (Matthew 28: 16-20)
Disciple-Driven: The Well Church is about making disciples who make disciples. This was the mission that Jesus gave his disciples before he ascended to heaven, "to make disciples of all nations." We want to multiply by sending out disciples to make more disciples for God's glory. This happens through one on one discipleship, Well Groups, Mission trips, and planting more churches. We long to see the Kingdom of God expand as more and more people come to know Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20)
